Job Description
The Coach is integral to the success of HandsOn Bay Area's TeamWorks program. The TeamWorks program brings together a group of 8-15 volunteers to participate in direct service, facilitated reflection and issues education over a series of 6-7 events. Your leadership enables the TeamWorks participants to work collaboratively and develop a deeper understanding of the agencies they serve.
Responsibilities

Ensure volunteer satisfaction

Create a positive, friendly, safe atmosphere on site |
|
Maintain professional relationship with agency partners |
|
Administer all post-project reporting |
|
Partner with HandsOn Bay Area staff to meet program goals |
|
Research, plan and facilitate all service learning and social activities |
|
Co-lead introductory welcome and participate in reflection offerings, as needed |
Requirements
|
Attend at least four HOBA projects or manage two |
|
Have knowledge of how to plan group community service activities |
|
Complete a TeamWorks Leader Training |
|
Be able to represent HOBA professionally and act with integrity when dealing with participants, agency partners, fellow team leaders and HOBA staff |
Time Commitment
Coaches must commit to attending the entire series of TeamWorks projects, in line with participant requirements. In addition, coaches can expect to spend a minimum of eight hours above and beyond the project series. The total time commitment is between 20-30 hours over an estimated 2-month period.
